First and foremost happy birthday to my sweet hubby today!  I love you and hope you have a spectacular day , which I know you will because Sterling and I will be helping you celebrate! 

On Wednesday this week,  I checked our mail and the most wonderful surprise was waiting for me.  The girls at Fringe Boutique mailed me this necklace because they knew I had been wanting it!  How sweet, right?  I freaking love it!  She will be worn this weekend for sure!

My MayBooks also came in the mail and I can’t say enough great things about them.  I ordered the Ikat one as a monthly planner and the hot pink/red one I ordered with lined paper to use for my to-do list.  I am a freak and make a to-do list every. single. day.  Helps me stay productive or at least feel like I am being productive.

Can we talk about how dumb Krsiten Stewart is?  I mean who the hell cheats on Rob Pattinson?   I never got them in the first place.  I am just not a huge fan of hers.  I feel like she never smiles and her hair always looks dirty and unkept.  Rob was way to hot to be dating her.  I do at least appreciate her owning up to the fling.  Most celebrities try to deny it but at least she was honest.  Carry on Rob, you will have no shortage of women fawning over you.

I am not sure how I feel about this Justin Beiber Magazine Cover.  The title “Hot Ready Legal”  just seems really suggestive and kind of commical.  I guess he must have just turned 18.  I mean he still looks like a baby to me.

I tried on this Joie Blouse recently and now I am obsessed with it.  I want it in every color.  It is the perfect blouse for fall.  It fits great and looks so good with skinny jeans. It comes in a bunch of colors but these three are my favorites.

In order to beat the heat we have done alot of pool dates.  This picture just makes me laugh.  My man loves him some goggles.

I am super obsessed with the new Maroon Five song, Payphone that they preformed on The Voice two weeks ago.  Have to play it every time I get in my car.  And we can talk about how hot Adam Levine is. I think I am attracted to him because he looks like my hubs.  I love tall dark haired men! 

First Ann Taylor surprised me and now Banana Republic. How cute is this Ikat blouse? I swear it looks just like some expensive ones I have seen online. It is a steal for a great blouse.   I think it is going to look pretty cute with my white jeans.

I am so excited because I am finally getting a Silhouette of Sterling done. I have wanted one forever. WayWay is working on it and I know it be fabulous because all her stuff is! I debated FOREVER about what color to do the Silhouette. You would think it was a life or death decision the way I debated.  I went back and forth between going bright or just doing classic black.  In the end I went for Turquoise, I love the pop of color.  Plus most of our walls are pretty neutral so I think it will show up better.  This is not my silhouette but it is the picture I sent WayWay for reference. I love how the name and age is at the bottom.

Lately I have been hooked on roasted cherry tomatoes. I had no idea how much more flavor the tomatoes would get from just roasting them!  It is my new favorite side dish.  I have been making it at least once a week and surprisingly Matt loves it too! All you do is toss with olive, salt and pepper,  then roast at 350 degrees for about 20-30 mins. After they are done cooking I add in some fresh julienned basil.

Yesterday I finally hit up Glazed, a new doughnut shop downtown. Ladies it was amazing. Worth every single calorie. I will be returning frequently! They had so many fun doughnut flavors, sadly they were sold out of the Maple Bacon flavor that I really wanted to try, but our glazed were mouth wateringly good!

I am in love with this outfit Charlize Theron is wearing. Makes me think I need a blush colored blazer. Love it paired with the black.

I am currently lusting over this Hot Pink Greylin blouse. I really want her to wear with my white shorts this summer. I keep remembering my mom saying hot pink is not a good color on us. Tell me do you think blondes look good in Hot Pink or is it too Barbie looking? I love pink and think I am going to go for it. Best part the blouse is very reasonably priced. It also comes in white, black and cobalt blue.

I love this quote from Gwyneth. I thought about it the whole time I was on the treadmill yesterday. It is so true it takes alot of hard work to have a fit and toned body. I love how honest she is about how hard she works out. Most celebrities are not that truthful about it. Something for all us to remember. It ain’t easy but its worth it!


My little man may be Matt’s twin but he is alot like his Mama. He loves good jewelry (My necklaces are his new favorite thing to play with and I kid you not it took me a good twenty minutes to unknot all the ones he is wearing) and he loves shopping. A man after my own heart.


Have you seen these “slutty brownies” floating around Pinterest? I am pretty sure these will be made in my near future. Brownie Mix with Oreos and a bottom layer of cookie dough = pure heaven.


Matt has the alarm on his his phone set up to play Lionel Ritchie’s “Hello” every morning at 6:00. I can’t tell you how weird it is to be awoken by a voice saying “Hello is it me you’re looking for.”


How gorgeous is this kids bedroom? I want to do something similar when Sterling moves to his big boy room next year. By similar I mean I would like everything in this room especially the bed and light!
