Scenes From Our Weekend

Jan 23, 2017

Grateful- exactly how I feel after my post Friday.  You guys blew me away with your comments, emails, texts and messages after my post Friday.  I was ready to share but at the same time I was apprehensive.  You ladies lifted me up, encouraged me, gave me hope, love and inspired me.  I honestly can’t thank you enough.  This is a difficult and dark journey I have been on and I know it will continue to be trying but your kind words and encouragement meant so much to me.

Thank You from the bottom of my heart, ya’ll are amazing.

xoxo

……………………………………………………….

Thursday night I headed out to an event at Zero George for The Hilliard Studio Method a fitness studio based out of Charlotte.  Next time I am home I am definitely gonna try and fit a class in.  The ladies that do this workout have incredible figures!  We are trying to convince them to open a studio here in Charleston!

What I wore:

Dress also HERE and HERE | Booties | Earrings | Watch | Purse

I am wearing a small in the dress, it runs TTS.

After the event we stayed for a drink and a nibble at the bar.

They make the best drinks at Zero George.  I went with my old trusty,  the Dirty martini,  but they have so many fun and innovative ones to choose from.

I always love their cheese platter, although I have really never met a cheese plate I didn’t like.

They only make a certain amount of burgers each night and we got lucky they had one left so we all split it.  Let me tell you, it was hands down the best burger I have ever had.  I am not even a huge burger person but I was drooling after this one.

Friday I finally tested out my new Vitamix and loved her.  I can tell I am going to be using her often.

I bought this copper version

I made this smoothie: coconut water, 1 banana, 2 handfuls spinach, frozen mango, frozen pineapple, and a scoop of Greek Yogurt.  I am working on a post I will run soon with all my favorite smoothie recipes.

Loving this floral tee.  I am all about some florals.

Floral Tee

Friday was lunch at Butcher and Bee, easily one of my favorite lunch spots.

I finally tried their Veggie burger that was just written up in Bon Appetit.  It was sooooo good!

Friday night was super low key the kids and I watched Norm of The North.  Saturday was a quick workout and then we worked on cleaning out and boxing up clothes.  Follow me @shopsnoopnattynatcloset I will be doing a blog sale this week with some of my clothes.

I am a huge fan of this workout top that can be worn tied or not tied.  It is perfect for barre and yoga.

I am wearing a size 6 in both the tank and leggings.

After that we hit up the mall to escape the rain.

That afternoon I met a friend for a glass of wine at The Dewbury.  Thank goodness for my girlfriends who take care of me on the weekends!

What I wore:

Blouse (buy one get one 50% off) | Necklace | Jeans | Pumps

Fries + Aioli:) Clearly I didn’t watch what I ate this weekend.  Back on the train today.

Sunday it poured rain all day so we headed to the Aquarium.

That display is all legos- I mean how amazing.

Sterling is shark obsessed so he was in heaven.

Currently crushing on statement Earrings.

Have a wonderful start to your week.

Scenes From Our Weekend

May 23, 2016

Good Monday Morning!  This is the last full week of school for both kids, so I have lots I hope to accomplish in my few free mornings!

Last Wednesday I ate lunch at Co with my friend Ashley.  Co is always so tasty.  Charlotte friends they just opened one at Park Road Shopping Center!   This time we tired the Mango Summer Rolls and Chicken Salad and both were delish!  the Mango Rolls were served with the most amazing peanut dipping sauce.

Shells + Stripes ( I am wearing a size small for reference) also HERE for Happy Hour.

Friday night Matt worked on his boat and the kids and I watched Full House- our favorite show to watch together.  Matt and I enjoyed a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives.  It is one of our favorite weekend drinks.

Saturday the kids and I hit up the Farmer’s Market with some friends.  Of course we stopped at Glazed first.  We tried two new doughnuts they had, Blueberry Ginger and Smores.  They both were pretty incredible.

Someone was clearly excited about her doughnut.

Lots of gorgeous produce from the Farmers Market.  I have never cooked purple cauliflower before but it was too pretty to pass up!   This tote is the perfect size for toting all my Farmer’s Market goodies.  It comes in 6 different colors and all the totes are made by women who have overcome adverse situations.

Mamuye Tote

That afternoon we took all the kids to the pool.  My cover-up was recently reduced and this cooler is the best.  It is the perfect size for snacks.  We use it all the time.

Cover-up also here | Sunglasses | Bathing Suit (on sale) | Cooler

Another day another bathing suit.

Ice Cream Bathing Suit

Matt participated in a fishing contest and won for the flounder division!   This was his winning fish!

Sterling couldn’t wait to get his hands on it too.

Sterling had a sleepover Saturday night with his best friend Oliver.  They are just the cutest together.

Sunday Frances and I headed to church.

Wearing Equipment Dress + Hyla Dewitt Necklace + Tote

Sunday night we had some friends over for dinner and fried up the flounder Matt caught from his tournament.  I always think cole slaw goes perfectly with fried fish so I set off to Pinterest to find a recipe.  Well the first one that popped up was the Chick Fila recipe.  I loved the Chick Fila slaw and I was so bummed when they stopped serving it (and the brownie).   I made the slaw and I have to say it was awesome and tasted just like the Chick Fila version.  I actually shredded my own cabbage but if you wanted it just like Chick Fila’s version I would buy the chopped cabbage bag.

What I wore:

A few people have asked about my dining room chairs and these chairs are actually at my parent’s condo.  They have been in town quite a bit recently and have floor to ceiling mirrors so I usually just snap a picture when I stop by there.

Tee Shirt (wearing size 1) + Necklaces + Jeans (on sale ) + Purse same style different color + Shoes (use code BRTAKE40 to save 40%)

Have a wonderful Monday!

Scenes From Our Weekend

Jun 23, 2014

We had a pretty low key weekend this weekend.   We tackled some projects around the house and enjoyed some family time.  Here is what went down.

Friday I met my sister in law for lunch.   Always love catching up with her although lunch with Sterling is never relaxing!  He would not sit still! We ate at Heart and I had the most delicious flatbread with local squash, pesto, and goat cheese.

I have been embroidery obsessed lately.  If you are pregnant this would be a great top because it is loose.  I wore this to lunch Friday.

Velvet Embroidered Top

We enjoyed some ritas for happy hour.  Check out my instagram (snoopnattynat) for the actual recipe.

Then we headed to the Yacht Club to let the kids play before dinner.  The swings were a big hit with both kids.

Afterwards we grilled burgers and I made a delicious mayo free broccoli salad for the side.  Recipe coming soon.

Saturday the kids and I hit up the Farmers Market while Matt worked.

I could browse for hours, it is my happy place.

It is Sterling’s happy place too,  he loves the trio of jump castles.  The joy on his face is priceless.

I made some tasty sandwiches to do an evening boat ride, only for it to be rained out.

We still had a good time hanging at the Yacht Club again.

After the storm we did get to see a beautiful rainbow.

I wore my favorite tank top that is now on sale.  I have lived in this tank all Summer. I am in a size small

|| Rag and Bone Nicole Tank (on sale)

Sunday we cooked up some delish bread from the Farmers Market.  You must stop by the Rococo booth.  This cream cheese twist bread was awesome- also love their Marathon bread.

Matt took Sterling fishing most of the day Sunday and they caught a fresh flounder that we cooked for dinner that night!  Pretty sure my little man is going to be quite the fisherman like his daddy.

Piperlime is having 25% off dresses and skirts only til tonight at midnight.

My favorite Amanda Uprichard Maxi is now out in a fabulous nude color- use code RSVPSTYLE to get 25% off your order.

Scenes From Our Weekend.

Jan 23, 2012

I hope everyone had a great weekend. We had another relaxing weekend with no big plans. Sometimes those are the best weekends when you have nothing to do!
We spent a lovely afternoon at the beach near our house.

My little man is obsessed with his rainboats. Seriously, everyday he says “boots, boots” and picks them out to wear that day. He even trys to wear them to bed at night. The boots are by Hatley and I highly recommend them to any of your with kids!

I picked up some Tulips. Tulips are so some of my favorite flowers, so I am always so excited when they are in season and available!

We cooked up some amazing meals.

{Black Bean Tacos and Brie, Apple, and Arugula Quesadilla}
I caught up reading a bunch of my glossy magazines. The perfect way to spend a dreary Sunday.

I found a new TV Show I am obsessed with. It is called Scouted and it comes on E. It follows a modeling agency that scouts girls to be models. This show is good, real good. It is amazing how they transform these plain girls into supermodels. Watch it, you will love it.

I am kind of upset Heidi Klum and Seal are separating. They always seemed so in love and like they had a really good marriage. I guess the Hollywood Marriage curse hits again.

Enjoy your Mondays. We are off to run errands and hit up the playground.
