Can y’all believe this is the last Monday of August and that Christmas is 4 months away??  Holy wow this year is flying by!!  Friday morning Frances Moon and I did a little shopping downtown.  I picked up this adorable blue and white ruffled blouse.  This was right after she told me my stomach was fluffy like a pillow:)  I got a size 2 in the blouse it ran on the large side.

Friday night the kids and I did a family dinner at Smokey Oak.  I love their chicken and bacon quesadilla- and nope I didn’t diet this weekend:)

After dinner we headed to Magonlia Bakery for some ice cream.  I was beyond excited when I saw they had a cinnamon toast crunch flavor.  It did not disappoint.

Saturday morning we did our usual stop at Glazed Doughnuts before the Farmers Market.

I am obsessed with the Bee’s Knees coffee at Glazed- so tasty!

Sterling loves to help me pick out my tomatoes.  It makes me so happy my kids get excited about gorgeous produce like I do.

I stopped in a new wine store that I adore- Monarch Wines.  They had an awesome wine selection and the owner Justin was so nice and helpful.  They offer wine tasting classes which I can’t wait to do!

Saturday night we had some friends over to grill out.  If you have never done crab legs on the grill it is a must!

I made Ina Garten’s Parmesan Chive Smashed Potatoes which are always a hit!

I also made this Summer Salad was amazing and so easy to make.

Arugula + fresh peaches diced (I used 3 large ones) + 1 yellow onion caramalized (sautee in olive oil 10 minutes or until browned) + gorgonzola + crispy pancetta (dice and cook in a small pan with olive oil until cripsy, pat off extra oil) + fresh basil.  Layer all then drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Sunday we went to church.  Sterling dressed himself and I loved his outfit choice.
