Sterling starts second grade today and I am in total denial.  I don’t know what it is about the new school year but I always get so emotional thinking about how fast time is flying by.  When we went to meet his teacher yesterday I got teary eyed,  he seemed so independent and most importantly excited.  Here’s to all you mamas with kids starting back school this week!  It is a bittersweet time!

Today I wanted to share a dress I recently purchased.  It is the perfect dress to wear now and into Fall.  It is light weight and has the prettiest embroidery.   It runs on the large side, I am wearing a size XS.  The hem of the dress is not uneven although for some reason it appears that way in some of these photos.  I paired it here with booties, but it would also be cute with gladiator sandals now and even over leggings into the Winter. the dress comes in several other color options too, but I loved the cream color.

I bought these Rag and Bone booties several years ago on sale and they are still a favorite.  I really want the black next, they would go with so many outfits.  Definitely size up 1/2 a size if you order as they run on the small side.

I can’t get enough embroidery these days.  I love the pop of red.

Off Shoulder Dress

I just can’t quit the off shoulder trend, still love it.  This one is a great price at $55 and I love the dark chambray and ruffle details.

This Kate Spade version is pricier but I love the color so much.
