While I was in Charlotte last weekend I did a little shopping with my mom. I always love having her come along for her opinion, plus it’s just fun to shop with your mom! I tried on several things at Nordstrom and Madewell that I thought I would share. This velvet dress is perfection. I am so hoping it goes on sale so I can snag it for the holidays. I adore the bow neck tie and ruffle bottom. I am wearing a small.
This sweater was crazy soft, I really wanted the bronze/brown color but our store was sold out. I am wearing a size small. It is under $50 too!
I own this sweater in the blush color, but I am so tempted to get another color as well I love it so much. I can’t say enough great things about it. I also own the gray jeans. They are high waisted and the fit is perfection. The sweater runs on the large side so size down, I am wearing an XS. I also went down a size in the jeans. The sweater also looks great paired with leggings.

For under $20 you can’t beat the price on this tee. I own it in white and gray. Tees are such a great staple piece to wear alone or layered. I am wearing a medium in this for a more oversized fit. I hate clingy tees. It is out in some gorgeous new colors for Fall. A great basic and cheap tee to add to your closet!
