Scenes From Our Weekend

Oct 2, 2017

Happy First week of October!  We had a really fun weekend.  My parents were in town in again and we always love seeing them!

Tee | Necklace | Jeans (on sale)

Friday I met a friend for lunch at Butcher and Bee.  It is hands down one of my favorite lunch spots here in Charleston.

I love their veggie burger.  It was written up in Bon Appetit so you know its legit.  The spicy carrots are another favorite side dish.

Friday night my parents took me out to dinner!  We ate the Lot, one of my favorite restauarants on James Island.  The menu changes frequently here and they focus on local produce and ingredients which I love.

What I wore :

Off Shoulder Top (similar) | Jeans | Earrings | Nude Shoes

Saturday morning I hit up the Farmers Market.   I always to try to buy all my veggies for the week here on Saturday.

The Tacos at the Street Hero booth are always so good.

Saturday afternoon we celebrated my Mom’s birthday. How cute are these seahorse champagne glasses?

What I wore:

Tee | Necklace | Jeans (on sale)

I made this super easy salad:

Arugula + cherry tomatoes + cheese tortellini + Parmesan Shreds + pine nuts

Toss all together with this dressing!

Saturday we woke up to temps in the low 50’s and it was glorious!!

Needless to say I was excited to bust out my leggings and sweater!  I can’t rave enough about my cardigan!  It is crazy soft, I am pretty sure I need the black next!

Sweater | White Tee | Leggings

Veggie Sandwiches for Life.  This one is whole grain bread, hummus, cheddar cheese, spinach, cucumbers, yellow bell pepper, and tomato.

Since yesterday was October 1st I finally caved and let the kid’s decorate for Halloween.  Sterling was on a mission!

Sunday night we had a fun Happy Hour with some of our neighbors. The Happy Hour Spread was on point.

Have a great Monday!

    Looks like a great weekend!

What kind of bread do you buy? Your sandwich looks delish! Also need details on that dip–a hummus or something with all the chopped veggies on top served with the pita chips and endive? Is that your recipe? Thanks for sharing!!
