Happy Friday!  The kids are out of school today due to a teacher workday so we decided to head to Charlotte to visit my family!  We have not been home in a couple of months so we are excited to see everyone!  My sister is due any day now with her third baby, so exciting!

I finally had a chance to check out Mylk Bar in Mt Pleasant.  It is Charleston’s only eco-friendly nail salon.  They use all non-toxic polish.  How cool is the space?  They do really cool nail art designs too.

I tried out Ali Baba’s for lunch.  This was the vegetarian platter and it was really good.  Some of the best falafel I have tried.

Frances Moon insisted on a sleep mask.  Such a little diva.

A new park opened up the street from our house and we have been loving it. Can’t get over how big Sterling is getting these days.

I eat on the go often so I make these “adult lunch boxes” so I don’t have to stop and get fast food.  This week was: pretzel thins, pepperoncinis, hummus, Trader Joe’s tabbouleh, and farro salad.

We had our monthly girl’s supper club last night and I wore this velvet blouse.  It is a great price point, only $30 right now.  Several of you messaged me last week about my Rebecca Taylor velvet blouse and wanting some less expensive options and this is a great one.  I love the swingy fit and the color is so pretty.
