Happy Monday! Back to the grind after a fun weekend.  I mentioned last week that the Wine and Food Festival invited to be part of their media team.  I was able to attend several events and had such a great time meeting new people, tasting some delicious bites and sampling amazing wines and cocktails.  I wanted to share a few pictures from some of the events including my favorite wines and what I wore.

Yesterday was the big Tent Tasting.  I have been going to this event since before I had Sterling.  It is always fun and each year it gets better.

The food lines were kind of long at this event so I didn’t taste a ton of food but I loved this stuffed avocado.  I need to try and recreate this at home!

Our favorite section was of course the rose area!

This was one of my favorite wines I tasted a white pinot noir.  It was so yummy.

Thursday I was lucky enough to be able to take my mom and her good friend Jane to an event with me.  We attended a fashion event at Hampden Clothing and got to meet the designer of Marni and see the new Spring collection!

One of my favorite events I attended was a sit down lecture and tasting on tequila.  It was so cool to see how tequila is made and learn about all the different ones.  I actually really love tequila so it was fun to taste some new ones.

Pinot Envy was another awesome event.  There were lots of pinot noirs to try plus 15 chef stations.

This was held at the Gibbes Museum of Art, and lucky for us the weather was perfect!

I loved this pinot noir and for local friends they carry it at Bottles.

 

This 20 layer lasagna was delicious.  I loved that it was topped with arugula and parmesan cheese.

Ashley was my partner in crime for a few events.  We always have a blast together.

Another awesome event was one hosted at Bowens Island.  It was right on the water with so many tasty seafood dishes.  Oysters with crispy bacon, yes please!

I can’t wait for the Wine and Food Festival next year!  Ben was able to attend a few events with me so that made it even more fun.  Also so many of you messaged me about this blouse and it is an old Clover Canyon from a few years ago- here is a similar one.
