Summer Essentials

Jun 19, 2018

Today I wanted to share some Summer Essentials we are loving!

Yeti Cooler

After my friend Ashley brought her Yeti cooler like this our pool I promptly ordered one.  It is the perfect size for snacks and drinks for the pool.

Ice Packs

I love these for the cooler and the kid’s lunch boxes during the school.

Corkcicle Canteen

I love these, they are not only great for the gym but the pool too.  I like them better then my Swell bottle I feel like lately it has not been keeping my drinks cold but this one does.  They have so many pretty colors too.  and if you buy the larger size you can fit a bottle of wine in there for boat rides or the beach and it will stay chilled!

Corkcicle Tumbler

These are perfect for wine at the pool or beach.  Also great for kid’s because of the lids.

Memory Game

Games are key in the Summer because we have so much spare time.  Frances has been obsessed with Memory lately and this is such a cute version.  We play it almost everyday!

Microfiber Towels

I mentioned these before but they are great for the beach.  They are lightweight made of microfiber.  They feel different from regular towels but I love them because they dry quickly and the sand won’t stick.  They come in so many great colors and patterns.

Silicone Wine Glasses

These are the best for the pool or beach, plus they look cute.  I like them for the kids because they are silicone and won’t break.

Sunglasses

My next door neighbor Rick got me hooked on these sunglasses.  I am the worst about losing or breaking glasses and these are under $50!  They are polarized and lightweight.  You can use his code COFFEETOWINE20 to save an additional 20% too!  I have the style called Annica in the tortoise finish (pictured below)  and LOVE them!

Cover-Up

This adorable cover-up is under $16 and comes in like 15 color options!

Sand Coasters

These are the best for the beach if you bring a drink.  I hate when you have to set your drink in the sand and these save you from that!

Neoprene Beach Tote

I am totally obsessed with this beach tote.  It is a great size and so easy to clean.  Comes in several colors.

Utility Wagon

This is key if you go to the beach often with kids.  We always have so much stuff to drag to the beach and this makes it so easy to tote it all.

Sunscreen

This is the best face sunscreen for kids! It is easy to apply and immediately rubs in.

Watermelon Ball

Sterling loves this,  it is so fun for the pool.  You fill it with water and can bounce it in the water and play games with it.

Waterproof Wireless Blue tooth Speakers

Wireless waterproof speakers are always a must!  I love the rose gold and these are not crazy expensive!

I love this so much! So many essentials. I have a similar cooler by Rctic, and we love, and that same wagon, amazing! All of these are major necessities! Thank you for sharing!

Love all these recs…thank you! Do you have a picture of you wearing those sunglasses? Love them and want to see what they look like in real life. Crazy they’re polarized but still so cheap.

If you have readers that are freaked out by the price of Yeti products, let me say that I have a Yeti soft cooler (and some Yeti tumblers and a “Yeti ice” ice block/ice pack) and I personally think that RTIC coolers and tumblers are just as good as Yeti coolers and tumblers… and they’re more affordable!

Yeti is just the “trendy” brand. There are comparable products out there. We always grab our RTIC cooler… our Yeti is collecting dust in the pantry (we hate the zipper on our Yeti).

Once trick that I always tell people is to buy the RTIC (or Yeti) soft cooler of your choice and then throw a frozen “Yeti ice” ice block/ice pack in there, along with drinks and ice. Game changer!

That said, I think RTIC just made ice packs, too! I haven’t tried RTIC ice packs yet but I am sure they’re just as good as Yeti.

I have no connection to Yeti or RTIC! Just my personal experience. 🙂
