My Daily Make-Up Routine

Jan 28, 2019

Happy Monday! After I shared my nighttime routine I had lots of requests to share my make-up and morning routine. I do change some of these products out frequently in order to try new ones but this is my current line up. I am working on two other beauty posts- one that will highlight my favorite masks and the other one will be all about lip color because I have so many favorites. Feel free to send me any other requests!

Exfolikate Exfoliating Treatment– I keep this in the shower and use it to wash my face if I shower that morning. If I am going to gym I don’t shower that morning so I would say I use this 3-5 times a week. It works magic on your skin. It is dubbed Hollywoods 2 minute facial. It really exfoliates your skin and makes it look so fresh.

Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Eye Patches– I wear these in the morning before I shower or put make-up on while I answer emails and do computer work. I keep them in the fridge, the coolness helps to de-puff your under eye bags.

C E Ferulic Face Oil– I swear by this oil. my dermatologist recommended it and I have been using it 2 years now. This helps with wrinkles and aging plus the Vitamin C and E are so good for your skin. This is expensive but lasts for a long time you only need a few drops a day.

Moisturizer- After the oil I apply my face moisturizer. I switch this out often. Currently I am using Kopari Coconut Face Cream and love it. It is lightweight yet moisturizing.

Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer– this came highly recommended from my beauty blogger friends Lindsey and Cristin and I love it. It really helps to even your skin before you apply your make up so it goes on evenly. It also helps to prevent break outs. It goes on like velvet.

Glo Skin Beauty Moisturizing Tint- I love this moisturizing tint because it is so light. It provides coverage and evens out your skin but it is not heavy at all. I also like that it has SPF in it. I wear shade light right now but in the Summer I go darker.

Glo Skin Pressed Powder– this powder is the best. Provides great natural looking coverage

Concealer Primer– This stuff is a game changer. You apply before your concealer, it helps reduce under eye circles and helps to set your concealer.

I use a mix of 2 concealers for extra coverage.

Nars Concealer in shade light 2.5

Bobbi Brown Concealer in shade beige . This is a little thicker than Nars so I like the two layered and combined.

Bronzer– I wear bronzer year round because I like my skin to look slightly sun kissed. I have the shade sun kissed and like it because it is 2 colors. It gives a very natural looking bronze.

Eyeliner- I have tried lots of eyeliners and I love this Urban Decay one. It is easy to sharpen and goes on evenly and not too thick.

Eyeshadow– I just recently got this palette and love it. Great neutrals that can be light for day or layered for a darker eye at night!

Mascara– I mentioned a few weeks ago I stopped buying expensive mascara because they were drying out so fast. I have been using and loving this Maybelline mascara. At only $6 it is not a big deal if you replace every month! It really makes your lashes look thicker and longer.

Dior Eyebrow Pencil– I swear by this eyebrow pencil. I use shade 1 Universal brown and it works awesome. I just recently started using an eyebrow pencil because I swear the older I get the thinner my brows get and they won’t grow or fill in. This pencil is easy to use which I like.

Charlotte Tilbury Highlight– this little wand is amazing. I use it under my eyebrows, on my cheek bones and sometimes to highlight the sides of my nose. It helps to highlight and contour your face and is so easy to use. Gives you a pretty fresh dewey look.

Beauty Counter Lipgloss – not pictured above but I still love and swear by Beauty Counter lipgloss. Peony and Dahlia are my favorite shades.

Fresh Lip Tint– I also love all the Fresh lip tints. They are great for everyday wear because they are lightly pigmented. Plus they have SPF and are super moisturizing. Rose , Petal , and Tulip are my favorite colors. This is a great mini set to try for only $25.

Hi!!! Did you move on from the “clean beauty” days like beauty counter? What was your experience there? Thank you for sharing!

Love these! Are you still selling beautycounter? Interesting you only use their lipgloss! I thought you loved their products? Why the switch? Do you worry at all about the harmful chemicals in makeup or nah?

That is my holy grail mascara!!! I like it more than any of my expensive ones!
