5 Beauty Hacks

Jun 22, 2020

Today I wanted to share 5 fun beauty hacks. With life being less than normal lately we have created new routines and schedules. These a few fun things to try!

ONE | Dry Shampoo + Conditioning Mist

I rarely wash my hair. It is better for your hair to not wash it frequently. I do shower everyday but probably wash my hair about twice a week. In between washings I have been using and loving Pantene’s Waterless Collection Dry Shampoo and Dry Conditioning Mist. The dry shampoo works wonders it doesn’t have residue and doesn’t weigh your hair down either. It really absorbs all oils and dirt from your hair. I spray on my roots and massage in with my fingertips. Then brush hair out and it looks like I just washed it. I use the dry conditioning mist on my ends. It helps control frizz and makes your hair smooth. It contains vitamin B5, Omega 9, aloe vera and jojoba oil. Both are paraben and sulfate free. They also smell so good!

TWO | Vaseline helps perfume last longer

If you apply a little vaseline to your wrists and neck before you spray perfume, it helps the scent last longer!

THREE | Lemon Juice to highlight your hair

The kids have been spending a ton of time outside in our blow up pool and water slide. Since I had to go quite awhile without highlights, I have been putting lemon juice on my roots and sitting in the sun. It helps brighten and highlight your hair naturally. It just needs heat. You can also use a hair dryer.

FOUR | DIY Body Scrub

I have been trying to think of fun activities to do with the kids and we have been making all sorts of concoctions. A favorite is DIY Body scrub. We mix coconut oil, lemon zest and granulated sugar. It smells so fresh and leaves your skin super smooth!

FIVE | Chilled Tea Bags for depuffing eyes and dark circles

I like to wet and chill tea bags and use them when I am feeling like my eyes are swollen or puffy. Especially during allergy season. It works wonders and feels so good!

Would love to hear any fun beauty hacks you guys have!

Thanks to Pantene for partnering on this post!
