Life Lately

Feb 11, 2021

Jacket | Tee | Necklace | Sunglasses

It has been a hot minute since I did a Life Lately post. If I am being totally honest its because our life has been pretty boring lately, nothing really cool or exciting to share. Still kind of feels like Groundhog Day but I had a few recipes, outfits and snaps of our daily life I thought I would share.

We are still loving our sweet Dolly, but man I underestimated the work that goes into having a puppy. She is like having a toddler at home always into something! Good thing she is cute! Also this blanket is a new family favorite.

Two recent salads I made and loved.

White beans + tuna + cherry tomatoes + red onion + artichokes + capers + dill + parsley – toss with oil oil and red wine vinaigrette.

Chickpeas + quinoa + cherry tomatoes + yellow bell pepper + cucumbers + red onion + feta + parsley – toss all with olive oil and lemon juice.

Scored this gorgeous dress 40% off. I am in a size 36.

Fell in love with this gorgeous red dress. I am hoping to wear it this weekend if it’s not too cold! Wearing a size small.

Had the best meal at 167 Raw last week. We shared the crab dip, oysters and Lemongrass Swordfish Sandwich, all so yummy! Plus the drink special was amazing.

Super Bowl Sunday called for Charcuterie.

Family Dinner out. I can’t believe how grown up Sterling and Frances Moon are getting!

The best make up cleaner. I cleaned all my brushes this week and they look like new!

I have been wearing these eye patches in the morning after I take the kids to school. They are a new favorite, they work so well at de puffing and helping moisturize and nourish the under eye skin.

A much needed date night at Halls recently. My Hunter Bell blouse I’m wearing is on major sale too 50% off!

New cocktail glasses that I ordered back in December finally arrived. I can’t wait to use them!

This guy turns 11 on Tuesday. I swear I blinked and he was grown. Also he is about to be as tall as me!

Have a wonderful Thursday!

The pooch is so cute! And you are totally correct about forgetting how much work it is to have a puppy.

I adore your blog. I don’t comment much. Found you through your friend Ashley. Your recipes are yummy and delish. The clothes this visit you are wearing are so cute! That dress you scored is darling on you. I am a Grandmama to 3 in MO. We are looking forward to spring to visit them….. my husband and I just got vaccine #2 so travel is happening. Your children are beautiful. Thank you for some wonderful recipes you have shared. Oh… as well the Christmas gift list for boys / girls (2020 really helped me). My DIL liked. Take care!

Oops… forgot to say your pup is just precious. Yes to the return to Toddler days. But so worth it. We have 2 pups that are littermates. Our daughter got them 6 years ago , and after Law school she could not find a rental in DC that was pup friendly for 2 dogs. We have had them for the last 5 years…. ours and LOVE. MI winters are hard ( I am a CA gal, been here for 25 years)…. so taking pups out on leash for their potty is ruff, but I have good outdoor gear, this is the essential one must have… good warm gear. Be well…
