167 Raw Sushi Bar | This was my third time dining here and it did not disappoint. Truly the most incredible sushi! We shared the Duck Spring Rolls – so incredible I could have drank the sauce that came with them. We also had the salmon and tuna futomaki, the special lobster roll and the fried chicken bao topped with caviar. I highly recommend this spot. It is really fun to sit at the bar too and watch them make the sushi!

T H I N G S I’M C O O K I N G

Turkey Sub in a Bowl| Always a favorite lunch of mine, a spin off of the Jersey Mikes sub in a tub.

Chopped Chinese Chicken Salad | another favorite lunch I had not made in forever. Use rotisserie chicken to save time! The dressing is so good I could drink it! On a random side note I went to two different grocery stores looking for shelled edamame for this and neither had it. It turned out fine without it but I do love the addition of the edamame.

Tomato Pie | Roasted Broccoli | Roasted Okra | I love nothing more than a tomato pie in the Summer. I need to type up these veggie recipes and add them to the blog!

Lululemon workout tank | This tank is awesome because it is mesh and moisture wicking perfect for these crazy hot Summer days. I sized up to an 8 for a loose fit.

Donna Hay One Pan Perfect Cookbook | I love Donna Hay, her cookbooks are always so beautiful. The food photography is so gorgeous it makes you want to make every recipe. I love that this book is all one Pot/Pan meals! So many I bookmarked to make!

Silk Pillowcases | Since my beloved Slip pillowcases have ripped some I decided to try this Amazon version and really Love them. They are half the price of Slip and good quality! I ordered white and charcoal.

Honest Mascara | This is my second time purchasing this. It is one of the best clean mascaras I have tried. I love that it has a primer and mascara in the same wand. It truly elongates and thickens lashes.

Mille Dress | My favorite style dress in a pretty new color for Fall. This style dress is so effortless.

R E A D I N G + W A T C H I N G + L I S T E N I N G

I am still reading Hotel Nantucket, I have honestly not been reading a ton lately because we have been busy during the day and then I am just tired at night!

We started Loot this weekend and it’s pretty funny. I just love Maya Rudolph! I liked this more than Evans if you are watching with a male:) It is about a woman whose husband is a millionaire and finds out he is cheating on her so she leaves him. She is then left with all this money trying to navigate her new life.

We finally went to see Top Gun and it did not disappoint. I loved it so much. I loved the characters and plot line, such a great movie.
