
This is one of my all time most loved salads. My mom used to make this and now I love making it. The flavors are so delicious and it is one of those salads that gets better the longer it sits. The crunch of the cabbage, ramen and nuts is just so good! The dressing is so yummy! This is only a few ingredients and always a crowd pleaser! Enjoy!
C H O P P E D C A B B A G E S A L A D
1 head cabbage shredded
2 packages soy ramen (save the sauce packets )
1 bunch green onions
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 sliced almonds
D R E S S I N G
The 2 saved packets from the Ramen
1 cup olive oil
4 tablespoons sugar
6 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Mix all the dressing ingredients together. You will need a fork to whisk or separate the sugar and blend it well. Pour over the salad ingredients and toss all together. This is gets better the longer it sits!
