Creamy Mac and Cheese
This Mac & Cheese is comfort Food at its finest. This recipe is one my mom used to make all the time. I grew up eating this and now my kids love it! It’s really easy to make and simply decadent! The cottage cheese makes it super creamy and gives it a little extra boost of protein! You can never add too much cheese. The cheesier the better! Passing down and sharing family recipes is the best!
CREAMY MAC & CHEESE RECIPE
Ingredients
8oz elbow noodles cooked and drained
2 cups whole fat Cottage Cheese (I love the @good_culture brand)
1 cup sour cream
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 cups grated Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
Mix cooked mac and cheese with cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, salt and pepper and cheese. Stir well and place in a baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees 45 minutes
