This is our last full week of Summer before school starts! This Summer flew by! I will be sad to see it end but I will be happy to get back in a set schedule- minus homework haha.
Thursday night I went to a wine tasting my next door neighbor Rick hosted for his blog. I wore this dress that reminds me so much of the Figue line but is a fraction of the cost. It also comes in navy.
Embroidered Dress (also comes in a colored black version)
I sprained my lower back and have been unable to work out for the last two weeks. I was finally able to go for a run Friday night an it felt so good to sweat.
Snow cone date with Frances while Sterling was at camp.
She is hatchimal obsessed these days.
If you love a good tee shirt like I do this one is a must. Under $30, super soft and thicker material, and I love the longer length.
Saturday night we had happy hour with Rick and Gary. Love my neighbors so much they bring me wine and entertain my kids:)
They brought this rose from Monarch Wines (located on King street) and it was delish!
I was in charge of apps. I did my standard cheese plate.
I also made this heirloom tomato tart that was a huge hit. I will share the recipe this week.
My parents took Frances for a few days so Sterling and I could have some one on one time before school starts. He and I headed to Beaufort yesterday for a mommy/son trip. We had a beautiful day on the beach and tried to catch some fish but no luck.
He was in hog heaven in our hotel room. He took a bath and immediately got cozy in the hotel robe.
Have a great start to your week!
