
I realized I shared this recipe weeks ago and never posted it! I had someone message and remind me about it. I grew up eating this meatloaf and It was always a favorite. As someone who is not a huge red meat eater I still love this to this day. When I made it the entire family gobbled it up, we had no leftovers! We are a sauce loving family so I love the sauce glaze that goes on top. I served our meatloaf with mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus and it was a great weeknight meal! Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- 1/2 White Onion, diced
- 1/2 Green Pepper, diced
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Texas Pete Hot Sauce
- 1 tbsp Worchestershite Sauce
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 2 tbsp Ketchup + 1/4 cup
- 1 can Tomato Soup
- 1 1/2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- Salt & Pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl add the ground beef, diced onions, bell pepper, egg, 1 tablespoon Texas Pete, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire, 1 tablespoon milk, 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1/2 can tomato soup and salt and pepper.
- Combine all together well and then mold into a rectangle shape in a baking dish.
- In another small bowl mix the other 1/2 can tomato soup, 1.5 tablespoons brown sugar, and 1/4 cup ketchup. This is the glaze for the meatloaf. Spread this over your molded meat.
- Bake @ 350°F for 45 minutes.
I don’t have Texas Pete sauce – do you think Cholula would be an okay substitute? While I LOVE spicy, my family does not…
Yes that would work! You can also leave out the hot sauce too we just like a little spice!
