My sister sent this to me and I really liked it. Happy Halloween to all my Pumpkins!
Being a God loving person is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff– including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, envy, etc. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see.
I got this email too and loved it! The picture is so pretty and so is the story.
What an amazing analogy! God does do all of those things for us. What a great way to start my day.
