
I am all about easy dinners during the school week. Truth be told for years my crockpot that we got as a wedding gift just sat on the shelf collecting dust. It has really just been the past two years I have started appreciating it and using it! This Salsa Verde Chicken is so good to have on hand during the week. This reel features build your own burrito bowls but we also love to use in Chicken Quesadillas, Chicken Tacos and Burritos. It saves well for several days too. Recipe below!
SALSA VERDE CHICKEN BOWLS
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 package Lime Taco Seasoning
1.5 jars Salas Verde used @mrsrenfros here
1/2 white onion diced
3 garlic cloves minced
Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot. Sprinkle with taco seasoning. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add in diced onion and minced garlic. Pour Salsa Verde over the top. Cook on low heat 6-8 hours. Then shred.

Cooked White Rice
Pico de Gallo
Guacamole
Freshly Grated White Cheddar Cheese
Pickled Cauliflower + Jalapeños
Black Beans
Hot Sauce
Cilantro
