Scenes From Our Weekend

Jul 3, 2017

I hope everyone enjoyed the Holiday weekend.  The kids are getting super excited about fireworks tomorrow.  I wanted to share a few more pictures from our beach trip and this weekend. We had such a great time, I am always sad to leave everyone!

We took the kids to see the Battleship one day and they loved it.  I had not been since I was a kid so it was really cool to see it again.

My blouse is on sale right now.

Every morning the kids woke up super early.  So we would grab buckets and go look for seashells.

Sterling found a sand dollar and was so excited!

I packed two of my favorite one piece suits.  Both are flattering and fit really well.

Strapless One Piece – this one comes in several colors.

All the cousins.

My sweet parents who make this trip possible every year!

Several of you asked about Frances Moon’s cactus dress.  My mom found it at Nordstrom Rack.

My dress is 40% off and under $100.

The most gorgeous sunset.

and sunrise.

This cover-up is a Summer staple.  It comes in several colors and is super soft.

Saturday I went to a really fun pool party. they had so many awesome floats.

The eagle float was everyone’s favorite. My bathing suit is old, similar one here.

Sunday we had dinner with my next door neighbors.  My maxi dress is on sale for 60% off. I am wearing a size small.

I made whipped feta and with marinated cucumbers for an appetizer- I will share the recipe tomorrow! It was amazing!

Rick my neighbor cooked the most delicious pork, coconut rice, and sweet potatoes.  This was Rick’s plate, mine wasn’t that pretty: )  All the recipes are on his blog today- HERE

Also pictured above is the Cabbage Ramen salad I made- you can find the recipe HERE.  It is one of my all time favorite salads.

Fresh blooms from my backyard!

Have a great Monday!
