I love nothing more than entertaining especially in the Summer. I always turn to my Walmart+ membership to help me! I love making charcuterie boards but decided to switch things up and make antipasto tacos! You heard that right, like handheld charcuterie! This little appetizer is like the best of a charcuterie board all rolled up into one bite size taco! This appetizer is so easy to make and simply delicious!
Walmart has all the best tools for Summer entertaining. These wooden bamboo sticks are perfect for appetizers like this and caprese skewers. This white platter and this white platter are the perfect backdrop for any colorful appetizer and such a great price!
You can make these ahead of time and keep chilled in fridge but I find they are best served when first made! These take about 10-15 minutes start to finish for a gorgeous Summer appetizer!
A N T I P A S T O T A C O S
sliced green olives
cherry tomatoes
lettuce (preferably iceberg or romaine)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon oregano
salt and pepper
In a bowl combine the shredded lettuce, diced cherry tomatoes, banana peppers and olives. Whisk olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper and oregano. Pour dressing over the lettuce mixture and toss.
Layer salami, provolone and pepperoni. In the middle scoop some of the lettuce mixture. Fold together and skewer with a toothpick or wooden skewer. Continue to assemble until you have desired amount.
I use my Walmart+ membership all the time but especially when it comes to cooking and entertaining. It saves me time and helps me plan ahead and have everything I need dropped off right on my front porch!
