Nat’s Musings | Vol 3

Aug 23, 2022

Happy Tuesday Friends! I am back with volume 3 of Nat’s Musings. It has been a few weeks since the last one. I really want to make this a weekly part of my blog so hopefully now that the kids are back in school this will be a more regular edition to the blog! These posts are my favorites because they are a random mix of all things I am loving from food to fashion to travel and books!

RECENT OUTFITS

Cara Cara Dress wearing size medium

White Tee (size small) | Jean Shorts

Daisy Dress wearing size small, my olive color is sold out but available In other colors.

Faherty Tee (Code SNOOPNATTYNAT for 20% off) | Jean Shorts

CHARLESTON EATS

Dellz| If you have not tried Dellz it is a must. I have been picking up this veggie wrap since I was pregnant with Sterling! They have moved about 4 times since then and I always follow them! This is a black bean hummus wrap filled with so many veggies drizzled with homemade goddess dressing and I truly dream about it!

RIO CHICO | is a hidden little gem on James Island. It is a Mexican restaurant right beside Publix on Folly Road. The inside is dark and not the best atmosphere but the food is so good. We love their Mexican Pizza and Fajita Taco salad. My kids love it too!

TRAVEL

Montage at Palmetto Bluff | 2 weeks ago I took the kids to Palmetto Bluff before school started. I took them 3 years ago and we loved it so much we decided to go back! It is such a magical little spot! I love that you can bike everywhere or rent golf cars. They have an awesome pool and so many cool outdoor activities for the kids. There are several restaurants on the property and they do free stores roasting every night which the kids loved. This time we charted A 1 hour dolphin cruise that was really fun too. Highly recommend if you have never been! The service is A++ as well!

THINGS I’M COOKING

Egg Salad | This is my go to egg salad recipe, it is so delicious! It is not quite as have as regular egg salad because the dressing combines a little mayo, olive oil and champagne vinegar.

Pasta Salad | For years my mom made this pasta salad and it still remains a favorite of mine!

Salmon Cakes + Chopped Chinese Chicken Salad

Lululemon Sweatshirt | This is the best sweatshirt! I can’t even describe how soft the material is. I ordered in the purple color and love it!

One Love Organics Botanical B Enzyme Cleansing Oil| My mom recently bought this at Bluemercury and was raving about it and how well it worked to remove her make up and how great it made her skin feel. I promptly brought it and its pure magic. I use this as part one of my double cleansing process and it effortlessly removes my make-up while hydrating my skin. Plus I love the smell!

Notepad | Now that school is back in session, I am back to getting more organized! I love how this notepad is divided and you just rip off each sheet when the week is done.

Hotel Lobby Spa Candle| This is a new candle I am loving! It has notes of Eucalyptus, water mint, sage, jasmine, amber and truly smells like you are relaxing at a spa.

Beach Read by Emily Henry | I started this last weekend and I am more than halfway through. It is well written and a really cute story line about two authors burned out on writing and love.

How’d She Do It Podcast | I have been enjoying this podcast lately especially the episode with Molly Fienning. I know Molly as she lives here in Charleston. Molly is so inspiring, so kind and gracious and always supportive of other women. She is an incredible entrepreneur and I really enjoyed hearing more behind the scenes about her journey!
