Football season is here and while I could less for football I do enjoy really tasty appetizers while I watch (or should I say pretend to watch) the game. This Chicken Caesar Salad dip is chefs kiss! Super easy to whip together, I keep things super easy by using rotisserie chicken and store bought Caesar dressing! What takes this to the next level is topping the dip with my spicy breadcrumbs! This dip is cool, crunchy, slightly spicy and full of flavor! Recipe below:
CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD DIP
1 8 oz container whipped cream cheese
1 cup Caesar dressing + more to drizzle
1.5 cups shredded chicken
Everything but the Bagel Seasoning
Freshly Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Shredded Romaine
Spicy Olive Oil (I use @kosterina )
Panko Breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
In a bowl combine cream cheese and Caesar dressing. Spread that on the bottom of a dish. Top with shredded rotisserie chicken and sprinkle with salt, pepper and EBB Seasoning. Top with Shredded Parmesan Cheese. Add Romaine Lettuce.
For bread crumbs drizzle spicy olive oil in a skillet and add about 3/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs. Season with a little sea salt and 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes. Cook on medium low heat about 5ish minutes until breadcrumbs start to turn slightly brown.
Add on top of lettuce, add more cheese and drizzle with dressing. Serve with a pita chip and enjoy!
