I love entertaining year round but I especially love it around the holidays. A well dressed bar is always a holiday essential! Evans frequently makes fun of me because I love glassware so much. It brings me so much to have pretty glasses when entertaining! I also love fun trays for displaying liquor and glasses.
I love this gold round tray for displaying our liquor. I originally bought this wooden tray for charcuterie but it is perfect for glasses when entertaining! These little bowls are perfect for cut up lemons and limes on the bar cart or also for nuts. I use mine all the time!
When I saw these gold and black martini glasses on Walmart I knew they had my name written all over them. They are just so pretty and we love our dirty martinis! They are honestly even prettier in person I love the matte black with the shiny gold inside. They would make a great hostess gift! They also come in white and gold as well! I love these gold toothpicks to use for olives, they are much more elevated than a regular toothpick.
A few tips for what we think make the best dirty martini:
Always buy good quality vodka and keep it chilled in the freezer. You can also store your martini glasses in the freezer to make them extra chilled.
Use fun toothpick skewers like these
Only do a small drop or no vermouth
Stuff your olives with blue cheese or pimento cheese. You can pre stuff them and keep in a bag in the freezer so then they chill your drink as well!
Use regular ice not crushed in your martini shaker we find thee crushed melts too fast
