One of our most loved and Easy Weeknight Meals I have been making for years are these Korean Beef Bowls. They could not easier to make and come together in 15 minutes. I keep things super easy by using the Costco Microwave Sticky Rice for the base! We love to top ours with marinated cucumbers, kimchi, green onions and siriachia. Both of my kids love these so that’s a huge win! Recipe below!
KOREAN BEEF BOWLS
1 pound ground beef
3 cloves garlic minced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1.5 tablespoons fresh ginger
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
In a skillet add the sesame oil, garlic and ground beef. Cook until meat is browned. Add in ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, red pepper flakes and sriracha. Simmer on low@about 10 minutes until sauce cooks down.
Serve over rice. Top with cucumbers (I toss mine with rice wine vinegar and EBB seasoning) kimchi and green onions and enjoy!
