My Favorite Veggie Sandwiches

Sep 4, 2019

I had a reader request to share my favorite veggie sandwiches around town. I am not a vegetarian but I love nothing more than a veggie sandwich, it is probably my favorite lunch. Here are my go to veggie sandwiches.

BRUEGGER’S BAGELS– sun-dried tomato bagel with veggie cream cheese, sun-dried tomato paste, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onions, and bell pepper.

JERSEY MIKES– the veggie sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, jalapeños, banana peppers, light mayo, oil and vinegar and seasonings.

PICKLED PALLATE– The Vegan Sandwich

BUTCHER AND BEE– Veggie Burger- this is probably the best veggie burger I have ever had!

DELLZ– The Hummer Wrap- this is a black bean hummus wrap and I always add cheese to it.

EAST BAY DELI– the Veggie Crisp sandwich

I also wanted to share a few of my own creations.

Whole grain Bread (I love Dave’s killer bread), hummus, cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, red onion, provolone

Fold it Flatbread + Hummus + Provolone + avocado + red onion + pickles + arugula + tomatoes

Whole Grain Bread, Roots lima bean hummus, avocado, lettuce, tomato, shredded carrots, red onion

Now I am starving and headed to Charleston for some veggie sandwiches. Being a vegetarian is sometimes hard to find yummy easy to go lunches. These are some great options.
