Sorelle in Charleston
Back in June I dined at Sorelle with a few girlfriends and was just not impressed. Our service was so slow and the meal was not the best. So many people had raved about it and I left feeling meh and totally underwhelmed. I went back this weekend and had a completely different experience. A good lesson to give a place a second shot. We had a lovely experience our service was excellent as was our meal. This now may be one of my fave dinner spots in town!
Dress above is H&M I am in size small.
The interiors at Sorelle are just stunning. Beautiful black and white marble with green accents.
Certain items on their menu change and are seasonal. We ordered several dishes to share and I find that is the best way to experience it all! We did the bread service and I am not a big bread person before a meal but this bread was delicious. Also, we added 3 cheeses to pair with it and salami. The salami was the best salami I have ever had so fresh.
We then shared the Pillows of Gold- the most delicious tortellini dish, the swordfish, arancini balls, Summer corn dish and zucchini parmigiana. I have to say they all were incredible. I like that the portions are not huge we didn’t leave feeling overly stuffed. Everything was light and fresh.
