Thoughts For Friday

Today we are headed back to Charleston! It has been a wonderful week spent with family. I will share some more pictures Monday once I upload them:) Time with family is good for the soul.

I finished reading Slightly South of Simple, which I loved and started Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us. I am almost done and loving it. It is a great Summer read. I used to read like 5 books in a week on family vacation but now the kids occupy most of my time so I have to sneak in time to read:)

I also had a really inspiring talk with my Dad this week about having a positive attitude and being grateful for what you have. It really put things in perspective for me. I saw this book out shopping and have been reading it each day this week.

A few of you asked about our favorite spots to eat in Wilmington. With 5 kids on vacation we usually cook most meals in. We do love K38 for Mexican (it is kid friendly and close to Figure Eight) and us girls always do a lunch at La Brasserie De Sol. Their salads and mac and cheese are out of this world amazing!
