This fun spin on lasagna involves ravioli instead of noodles! You don’t even have to cook the ravioli first so this comes together in less than 20 minutes! We used ground beef but I am sure you could easily sub ground chicken, turkey or even Italian sausage If you prefer! Pick up your favorite marinara sauce we all love Rao’s and start layering! This was a huge hit with everyone! You could easily assemble ahead and cook right before dinner. Enjoy!

R A V I O L I L A S A G N A
1 pound ground beef
1 small white onion diced
2 garlic cloves minced
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 cups spinach
2 jars marinara (you won’t need all of the second jar)
2 packages cheese ravioli in fridge section
16 oz Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup fresh basil chopped
Fresh mozzarella
In a skillet sauté the ground beef and add in diced onion and garlic. Cool until meat is brown. Stir in one jar of marinara and the spinach. Cook until it wilts down.
Spread a layer on the bottom of a baking dish. Top with ravioli, then a layer of shredded mozzarella, dollops of ricotta, Parmesan and basil. Repeat this layering again. I added extra marinara to the meat layer because I love sauce. Ending with a final layer of meat sauce and cheese. On the final layer I did fresh mozzarella. Bake 350 degrees 45 minutes. Remove from oven and top with fresh basil.
