I have been on a mission to incorporate more denim styles into my wardrobe. I can’t help my love for a skinny jean, I just feel good in them. However, every time I see others wearing non skinny jeans I think wow, those jeans look amazing. My body type is a little hard for jeans as I am tall but I have really wide hips, a very flat butt and I am short-waisted. I think that is why I gravitate towards skinny jeans because they just seem to fit my body type well. The styles below I ordered to try are all from Shopbop- this is their denim week. Sizing wise I am kind of right between a 28/29 so I typically tend to do a 29 in jeans because I can’t stand pants fitting to tightly and having flab hang over. See below for a few styles I really loved! Wearing a 29 in all styles shown below.

High Rise Jeans + White Tee + Sandals

These jeans may have been my favorite. I loved the square pockets and wider leg. They had the perfect amount of stretch too. Also let me mention this white tee because it is my new favorite tee. Great fit, not see through and I love the slightly puffed sleeves. Wearing a medium in the tee.

Distressed Jeans + Blouse + Sandals

These jeans are basically my go to style. Perfect wash and fit. Wearing size 4 in blouse.

Black Jeans + Sweater Vest

I had been wanting some new black jeans and I love the fit and look of these. Straight leg and they would go with so much! Wearing size XS/S in vest.

Jean Skirt + Sweater Vest

I am obsessed with the stitching on this jean skirt! Great darker wash for Fall too. This black sweater vest is a splurge but it goes with so much! I bought the stripe version last year and wore it all the time so decided I needed to add the black to my closet! I am wearing size XS/S in sweater vest.

Wide Leg Jeans + White Tee + Sandals

These were way out of my comfort zone but I loved them! Wide leg and high rise and I thought they were really flattering!

Straight Leg Jeans + White Blouse + Sandals

I loved these jeans but wish I had sized down to a 28, the 29 was a little loose and I think 28 would fit me better. Loved the style though and lighter wash. Wearing a small in blouse and it is under $100.

Mother Skinny Jeans + Blouse + Sandals

If you like skinny jeans these are fantastic. So soft and comfortable with a little stretch.
