We embracing for Hurricane Irma.  The kids and I are still deciding what our action plan will be but most likely we will be heading to Charlotte to stay with my parents.  Prayers to everyone in the path and affected by Irma and Harvey.  Hurricanes are so scary, I think it is the unknown that is the scariest part.

I had the best fried chicken sandwich at Hen and Goat.  It was fried chicken, bacon, chow chow, and special sauce.

I traveled out to Green Pond last weekend again.  It is about an hour outside of Charleston and just so serene and peaceful.

Cheese platter I made for my mom’s birthday Monday.  I had several questions what was on here:  grapes, marcona almonds with herbs, St Alban Cheese, Flax Seed Crackers, pepperonis, aged gouda, salami, salt and vinegar ritz, pimento cheese, and green beans.

My neighbor Rick with his fabulous app spread.  All three dips were amazing and on his blog HERE.

he made roasted eggplant dip, olive tapenade and slow roasted tomatoes, they were the perfect combo together.

Frances Moon started school this week and ballet/tap class.

I let Frances Moon have a sleep over with me this weekend and she insisted on lining up all her stuffed animals to watch us sleep:)  Several questions about my headboard you can find HERE and its on major sale too.
