Happy Friday!  It’s December 1st and only 24 days til Christmas!  We did some decorating this past week.  Since we are typically gone the week leading up to Christmas I like to get my decorations up early to enjoy them.  Plus I am the type of person who likes to pack everything up immediately after Christmas.   I love how excited the kids get about Christmas.   Frances Moon loves to stare at the tree and tell me her favorite ornaments.

A few favorite Christmasy spots around our house.  I had lots of questions about these trees, they are from BD Jeffries in Charlotte.  The colored balls are from Lowes.

Sushi Date Night.  Osaka is the best.  We seriously eat here once a week.   Any other favorite sushi spots in Charleston?

Last night I went to a fun Christmas shopping party at Indigo Market, the cutest home store!  I loved the oyster art and oyster trees.

They had so many cute ornaments and I especially loved this greenery arrangement.

Frances Moon being a cutie.  I found boxwood wreaths at Trader Joes and they make me so happy.

This guy ate an entire bucket of oysters at dinner this week.  When he told me he wanted to order oysters I insisted he wouldn’t like them but he proved me wrong and ate every last one and cracked them like pro too.

A recent salad I made this week- Several of you asked about the pickled onions.  I usually buy these and pickles carrots at the Whole Foods salad bar to save for my salads during the week.  As far as beets I love the brand called Love Beets (Whole Foods carries them).  They are already cooked and their are different flavors.  I really like the white wine balsamic flavor.
